CLASSROOM 4.0 is a project aimed at developing school furniture and equipment solutions that monitor and improve the wellbeing and health of students and teachers in the classroom. Providing a comfortable and healthy learning environment allows students to focus better, retain information, and reduces stress and fatigue, leading to improved academic performance.

This new generation of school furniture and equipment include “smart” chairs and a network server with built-in sensors for measuring temperature, noise, humidity, CO2 levels, posture, and more. This solution allows to correct any deviations in the various parameters monitored, particularly with regards to climate, lighting and noise control.

Classroom

Sensor 4.0 + Display
The sensor accurately measures key factors such as temperature, humidity, light, Co2, pollution, light, noise and movement. It also houses the central system for processing the data collected and connection to the network. By analyzing the collected data, it is possible to intervene directly in the equipment’s (Avac, Light, Sounds, etc) in order to correct values if they are not within the acceptable tolerances.

Clima 4.0
These are intelligent climate control equipment’s that can regulate themselves automatically. They use the collected data such as temperature, humidity, and CO2 to adjust to specific settings. The system can be added to an existing classroom in different ways, only access to the building’s facade is necessary.

Light 4.0
Smart lighting devices with automatic regulation of light intensity. LIGHT 4.0 devices are equipped with localized light sensors that send information to a central server and adjust their brightness to desired light parameters. They can also function in a network, connected to with other devices of similar quality to operate in unison.

Mute 4.0
Sound quality is also a crucial element for overall wellbeing in a classroom. For the acoustic absortpion panels we offer the possibiliy to integrate a sound device to improve the acoustic experience through the classroom. They can also be used to broadcast high-quality sound, background music or for sound therapy purposes.

Student

Smooth 4.0 Chair
This is a smart chair designed to track student biometrics: temperature, heartbeat, blood O2, posture and activity. The chair is constructed using upholstered plywood and comes in several base options (wheels, writing surface, backpack storage or four legs.)
The chair includes a battery that powers a microcontroller with a unique identity. The microcontroller is equipped with lights and sound signals that indicate the system’s status. It is composed by pressure, biometric or other sensors and has the ability to communicate the collected data via wi-fi.

Monitoring and adjustment

The primary function of the CLASSROOM 4.0 application is to act as an interface between schools and the data collected in their classrooms. It provides a platform for school managers to set the optimal parameters for environmental conditions, receive alerts and data processing. The application is accessible online to allow multiple devices access.
